Alberta's government is offering free general admission to Alberta's museums and historic sites, including the Oil Sands Discovery Centre, in support of displaced Albertans who have to leave their homes due to wildfires. Visitors are asked to provide their postal code or government ID at the Admissions desk upon arrival.

Visit the Oil Sands Discovery Centre in Fort McMurray and experience the history, science, and technology of the oil sands for yourself. It's the closest you can get without boots and a hard hat!
